What We Believe

Core Beliefs

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who manifests Himself in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, was buried, was resurrected, ascended into heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man. (Matthew 1:18, 27-28)

We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim 3:16)

We believe in a personal relationship with God the Father, with Jesus, the Son, and with the Holy Spirit, our Comforter and Counselor. We believe in being led by the Spirit of God in everything, and yielding to His constant direction and counsel. (John 14:26, 16:13)

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost. (Romans 6:23)

We believe in personal salvation (to be saved from sin and death, healed, and made whole in spirit and in flesh) of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Romans 10:13)

We believe in personal accountability of deed and word. We believe in the eternally protected and guaranteed right of free choice, and in the spiritual law of seedtime and harvest. The bible says we will reap what we sow, and this principle applies just as much to the words that we speak as it does for the actions that we take. (Deuteronomy 30:19, 1 Corinthians 6:12, Galatians 6:7-9)

We believe that although we may fall short from time to time, we can be made right with God through personal confession of our sin, repentance, and the blood of Jesus which covers all sin, which empowers us to live a life of personal holiness and purity of heart. (Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:9)

We believe God heals today just as He healed through the hands of Jesus and the Apostles. We promote supernatural health and healing through the power of the name and the blood of Jesus. (1 Peter 2:24, Mark 16:18)
We believe the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a privilege of becoming born again, and is evidenced by speaking in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4). We believe that this is available to all believers, as God is not a respecter of persons. (Deuteronomy 10:17, Acts 10:34, Mark 16:18)

We believe in the unfulfilled prophesy of old: the soon-coming, personal return of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ onto the Earth. (Matthew 25:31)
